Acronyms and Terms
OTR - PacketViper OT REMOTE (OTR) Security Solution for Distributed Operation
BSU - Boundary Security Unit. Located at the Internet/Enterprise IT Boundary
CMU - Control and Management Unit. Located on Internal Boundary
RSU - Remote Security Unit. Located at Remote Boundary.
Context - Including country, business, segment, and flow for network communications
Bridge - Transparent Interconnects between network segments
Decoy - Deceptive element configured to respond and mimic services and processes.
Sensor - Configured to detect, alert, and log anomalies.
Sirens - Deceptive elements that mimic device communication across the network
Threat - Malicious activities that intend to take advantage of network vulnerabilities.
Anomaly - Network behavior deviates from what is normal, standard, or expected.
Untrusted Device - An unknown IP detected (new IP device) on the network.
Untrusted Connection - An unknown network port detected on the network.
